The numbers are building for Sturgeon Bay cross country as they head to Kewaunee for a meet Tuesday afternoon.

 

One number that is growing is the number of boys participating. After having one meet where no boys ran, three ran at last week's meet at Green Bay's Colburn Park. Jace Johnson led the way with a sub 21:30 5K time.

 

Another one that is building is Julia Kurek's win total. She won her second race of the season last week at Colburn Park, covering the course in 22:52. 

 

 

Many of the same teams will be at Tuesday's meet at Kewaunee's Bruemmer Park. The boys and girls' teams of Kewaunee, Sturgeon Bay, Gibraltar, Green Bay East, and Green Bay West will run together when the gun fires at 4:30 p.m.
