The Sturgeon Bay cross country team will head south Tuesday for a meet against some familiar foes and opponents hailing from Green Bay.

The Clippers do not qualify as a team to win meets because of low numbers, but in last week's meet at Kewaunee they had two runners in the top 10, led by Julia Kurek's winning time of 22:46 on the 5K course. The team does not have enough runners to field a scoring squad and does not have any boys running so far this year.

The Clippers will also race against Kewaunee, Gibraltar, Providence Academy, Green Bay East, and Green Bay West when their first race starts at 4 p.m. at Green Bay's Colburn Park.
