Bringing only four girls did not make the Sturgeon Bay cross country program any less competitive Thursday in its meet against Gibraltar and host Kewaunee.
The Clippers got two runners in the top 10, led by Julia Kurek's winning time of 22:46 on the 5K course. The team does not have enough runners to field a scoring squad and does not have any boys running so far this year.
