In the makeshift Spring football season, everything happens to be a first, but on Friday Sturgeon Bay made history regardless of the time of year. In the Sturgeon Bay win over Chequamegon, it was the first ever win for the program since joining the 8-man division. The Clippers were able to avenge a Fall loss to Chequamegon. The Clippers were able to hold on after taking a 22-12 lead into the halftime break. Chequamegon would tighten the gap in the fourth quarter, but the Clippers wouldn’t give up the lead and would capture the 22-18 victory and make school history.
