DC United takes second in conference meet

The DCU boys swim team competed in their conference meet on Saturday at Plymouth and swam to a 2nd place finish behind the host team.

 

Individual results were excellent for all the boys swimming. The team of Race Kasten, Drew Rass, Connor Thompson, and Jacob Norton took second in the 200 Medley Relay with a season-best time of 1:43.71.

200 IM Luke Bousley 1st and Connor Thompson 2nd

50 Free Jacob Norton 2nd, Drew Rass 5th, Race Kasten 8th, and Cole Rass 19th

100 Butterfly Connor Thompson 5th and James Pollock 6th

100 Free Luke Bousley 2nd and Ethan Almstadt 5th and Ezra Linnan 15th

500 Free Brandon Neubauer 8th

100 Backstroke Race Kasten 1st and Cole Albertson 7th

100 Breaststroke Jacob Norton 1st and Drew Rass 2nd

400 Free Relay Luke Bousley, Ethan Almstadt, James Pollock, and Connor Thompson took 2nd with a season-best time of 3:31.8

The highlight of the meet came in 200 Free Relay when Luke Bousley, Ethan Almstadt, Drew Rass, and Jacob Norton took 1st place and set a new EWC Conference record.

 

The DC United Swim team travels to Ashwaubenon this weekend for the WIAA Subsectional meet.
