After competing early in her career as a hurdler, Kasia has recently made an impact as a sprinter, sprint relay member, as well as a long and triple jumper. Kasia worked hard in the weightroom this past off season, which would have paid huge dividends this season. Kasia would have been a returning member of both speed relays. Last year her 4 x 100 relay made sectionals along with Emily Tess, Elena LeRoy (jr), and Alysha Nelson and her 4 x 200 relay missed sectionals by one place along with Elena LeRoy (jr), Ashley Hansen and Alexa Nelson (so). She looked to become dominant in the triple jump as well this year and coaches were relying on her in the 200 meter dash as well. Her “Can Do” attitude will be greatly missed next year.
