The Sturgeon Bay Clippers came on strong Thursday afternoon to blank the Xavier Hawks in a non-conference soccer match in Appleton.  The Clippers scored first on a place kick by Eli Dietzel to take a 1-0 lead into intermission.  Owen Stevenson scored two of Sturgeon Bay's five goals in the second half as the Clippers cruised to the victory.  The Clippers will stay on the road next Monday as they travel to Stockbridge.
