Clippers begin eight-man era Friday Night on 103.3

For the first time ever, Sturgeon Bay will participate in eight-man varsity football. The team had to forfeit its 11-man schedule less than a month ago after only 15 players participated in the first day of practice. The last-minute scramble to try to put together a new slate of games for 2019 netted three opponents. The first of those matchups sees Sturgeon Bay traveling to Oakfield to try and carve up the Oaks Friday night. Oakfield is 1-1 on the year. They were knocked around by Newman Catholic 53-21 in Week One before rebounding for a 25-24 victory against Belmont.

The Door County Medical Center pregame is at 6:30 with kickoff at 7 on 103.3 The Clipper.
