Sturgeon Bay High School

Clippers ready for tough stretch

The Sturgeon Bay High School soccer team has a tough four-game stretch over the next five days but head coach Todd Maas is not worrying. The Clippers are coming off a 6-4 victory over Fox Valley Lutheran. Tonight, the team will take on Stockbridge at home before heading down to Racine for The Prairie School Quad on Friday and Saturday. The Clippers will battle The Prairie School at 5 PM on Friday and take on Wauwatosa West at 10 AM on Saturday. The team will have Sunday off before travelling to Peshtigo to take on the Bulldogs on Monday. Even though the team will play a lot of games in a short time period head coach Todd Maas says the chemistry between the players should have them prepared.

Maas adds that his players looked good in their latest victory but they need to work on their defense if they want to continue succeeding going forward.
