Clippers fall just short against Kewaunee

Sturgeon Bay took a 2-0 lead over Kewaunee in the bottom of the first inning but a 5-run second by the Storm was too much for the Clippers to overcome. Sturgeon Bay would cut in the lead in the 2nd and 5th innings scoring one run in each. Kewaunee scored an insurance run in the 7th and Sturgeon Bay's rally came up one run short in the bottom of the last inning. The final score was 6-5. Max Bordeau and Jake Schneider drove in two.

Schneider also pitched six innings and struck out 10.

Sturgeon Bay will try to get back on track Saturday morning when they travel to Coleman for a 10 AM first pitch.
