Sturgeon Bay girls win, boys runner-up in Packerland Track Relays

The Sturgeon Bay Girls team won the Packerland Conference Relays Championship last night in Oconto with 118.5 points followed by Kew 114.5 and Algoma 69. First place events included 3x1600 Relay of Ashley Alberts, Morgan Reinhardt, and Nalani Bicoy

3x100 High Hurdles Relay of Alyssa Brendemuehl, Alexa Nelson, and Lauren Alger

3x300 Low Hurdles Relay of Alyssa Brendemuehl, Alexa Nelson, and Lauren Alger

High Jump Relay of Maggie Richard, Emily Ulberg, and Hailey Reichers

Long Jump Relay of Hannah Sternard, Kenzie Hasenjager, and Kenzie Blau

Triple Jump Relay of Hannah Sternard, Kenzie Hasenjager, and Kasia Klotz

Freshman 4x100 of Avalen Olsen, McKenzie Fish, Piper Hunsader, and Alexis Hemminger

Second place events included

4x100 Relay of Emily Tess, Kasia Klotz, Elena LeRoy, and Alysha Nelson

Shot Put Relay of Loren Whitmore, Brenna Zuehlke, and Delaney Shortreed.

 

The Sturgeon Bay Boys team earned second place behind Kewaunee. The boys had one

first place event

3x300 Intermediate Hurdle Relay of Spencer Hubbard, Fletcher Hubbard, and DJ Lenius

Long Jump Relay of Kellen Hacht, CJ Fairchild, and Fletcher Hubbard

Triple Jump Relay of Cj Fairchild, DJ Lenius, and Fletcher Hubbard

 

The Clippers look to defend their Door County Classic title on Monday at Gibraltar, the Oconto Falls Invitational on Thursday, and the St. Norbert College Elite Meet on Friday.
