Both Sturgeon Bay track and field teams win in Peshtigo

Both the boys and girls track and field teams picked up wins at the Peshtigo Quad on Tuesday. The Clipper girls dominated the field outscoring the second place team by 100 points. They scored 156.

 

Alysha Nelson and Hailey Riechers finished 1-2 in the 100M. Riechers also finished second in the 200M.

 

Kenzie Blau picked up a second-place finish in the 400M.

 

The whole top-five in the 1600M were all Clippers. Nalani Bicoy was first and Ashley Alberts finished second. Bicoy also finished second in the 3200M.

 

Lauren Alger won the 100M Hurdles and finished second behind teammate Alexa Nelson in the 200M Hurdles.

 

Kenzye Hasenjager, Kasia Klotz, Elena LeRoy and Alysha Nelson won the 4x100M Relay. Klotz, Hasenjager, Lauren Alger and Ashley Hansen won the 4x200M Relay.

 

Delaney Shortreed took first in the shot put. Brenna Zuehlke finished second in the shot put and discus.

 

Hailey Riechers won the High Jump, Hannah Sternard won the Long Jump and Kenzye Hasenjager won the Triple Jump.

 

The boys track and field team took first in a much closer field. The Clipper boys scored 98 total points, just ahead of Southern Door's 85.5 and Peshtigo's 80.

 

DJ Lenius won the 200M and Kellen Hacht finished second in the 400M. Carson Dvorak picked up second in the 800M. In the 3200M, Evian Torres picked up second as well.

 

Lenius also won the 110M Hurdles and 300M Hurdles. Nathaniel Greenlaw and Fletcher Hubbard finished second in those events respectively.

 

Hubbard also picked up victories in the in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.
