Lightning and rain resulted in the suspension of the Sturgeon Bay/NEW Lutheran baseball game Monday afternoon. The Clippers took a 2-0 lead on a 2-run HR from Max Bordeau in the top of the 2nd inning. The Blazers responded with 3 consecutive singles to start the bottom of the 3rd inning, with a 2-RBI single by Sam Meerstein being the biggest hit. The game was suspended with NEW Lutheran holding a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the 3rd inning, with a runner on 3B and nobody out. The game will be resumed at that point at a date TBD.
