The Sevastopol Pioneers will begin their second straight playoff stint with a home game when they welcome Niagara to Institute for a Saturday matinee on 105.1 The GOAT.
The Pioneers, ranked 8th in the Bound Wisconsin Poll and boasting a 7-1 mark, are a #3 seed after they topped their rival Gibraltar Vikings 48-14 in the regular season finale for both teams on 105.1 The GOAT. The Pioneers scored on every possession except one in the game, which included four scores in the first quarter. The first three touchdowns came courtesy of Bo Tanck's arm as he found Cash Kuehn for 33-yard and 16-yard scores and Reid LeClair from four yards out. LeClair added an eight-yard touchdown run to make it 32-0. A third Tanck-to-Kuehn connection from 13 yards out started the running clock early at 38-0. The Vikings offense struggled to get going as they punted twice after two botched onside kick recoveries gave the Pioneers excellent field position. LeClair capped off the scoring for the Pioneers with a short touchdown run between a pair of Vikings scores.

The Badgers are the #6 seed and enter the playoffs 5-5, including two forfeits. They had a two-game winning streak snapped last Thursday with a 46-22 loss to Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas.
The two teams met each other in Institute on September 18th, with the Pioneers emerging victorious 43-0. In that game, the scoring came from both sides of the ball as Cash Kuehn scored on a 20-yard pass from Bo Tanck, who registered his own touchdown on a 50-yard run. The Pioneers scored three times on defense as well, with Tanck, Jayden McCormick, and Ray Johnson all taking interceptions the other way for touchdowns.
Paul Schmitt will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 12:45 p.m., followed by the kickoff at 1 p.m. The winner will either travel to #2 Suring or host #7 Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah next Friday.
