The DCU Girls High School Swim team was unfortunately defeated by Marinette High School on September 24th, 2025. The overall score of the evening was Marinette 82 and DCU 66.

Despite the loss, DCU placed first in six events of the evening. The 200-yard Medley Relay, consisting of Quinn Sperber (SDHS), Shaeffer Rass (SEV), Hazel Monfils (SDHS), and Brennan Rass (SEV), was one of those first-place finishes. Individual events with a first-place finish included S. Rass in the 200-yard Freestyle, Monfils in the 200-yard Individual Medley, and Sperber in the 100-yard Butterfly and the 100-yard Backstroke. Additionally, the 400-yard Freestyle Relay finished first. Sperber, B. Rass, S. Rass, and Monfils were the participants for that relay.

Overall, the team competed to the best of their abilities, and we look forward to our next conference matchup on Thursday, October 1st, versus New London High School at the Door County YMCA. Swimming starts at 6:00 p.m.; come support DCU!
