The Pioneers boasted one Top 20 finish and several season-best times at Thursday's Jim Bremser Invitational in Mishicot. For the girls, Breiah Newton covered the 5K course in 20:42 to take 15th overall. Four of her teammates broke their season's best time, three of which were personal records. On the boys' side, Landon Sitte paced the Pioneers with a time of 21:42 to finish in 68th place, while Axel Tlatempa was close behind in 70th place with a time of 21:27.3.
More than two dozen other teams will take on the Meadow Links Golf Course path on Saturday when the first races begin at 10 a.m.
