The Sevastopol baseball team is prepping to host the Gillett/Suring Co-op Hornets this Thursday.

The Pioneers are looking to recover from a pair of losses to Gibraltar/Washington Island in their doubleheader this past Tuesday. In the first game, the Pioneers fell 2-0, Sevastopol actually out-hit Gibraltar five to two, and Andrew Wiesner punched out 11 batters.

During the second game, Sevastopol struggled, dropping the game 10-2. Connor Mueller had two of Sevastopol's three hits in game two, and the Pioneers drew seven walks but couldn't capitalize when it counted.

The first pitch is at 4:30 p.m.
