The Sevastopol softball team were powered by big performances at the plate as they defeated Lena 15-9 on Thursday.

Brynn Schartner went 2-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs, while Leah Schopf finished 3-for-4 with a double, two singles and five RBIs of her own.

The Pioneers will look to carry that momentum into their next matchup, a conference doubleheader at home against NEW Lutheran on Friday.
