Pioneers baseball to play a pair against Bulldogs

The Sevastopol baseball team will stay in Institute on Tuesday when they welcome Peshtigo for a doubleheader beginning at 4:30 p.m.

In their last action, Sevastopol turned on the offense in a big way, capitalizing on nine free passes late in the inning and five Shiocton errors. The Pioneers would add another run in the fourth, needing just five innings to take a 17-7 win. Center fielder Bo Tanck finished 2-for-5 with five RBIs and a run scored. He also came on in relief of Wiesner in the fourth allowing a hit and three runs, one earned, while striking out two. Chase Haberli and Nolan Schultz took the last inning for the Pioneers and combined for the save.
