Rest and a little Vitamin C will hopefully allow the Sevastopol boys basketball team to return to the court on Friday when they host Oconto.

Illnesses were to blame for the team canceling its matchup against NEW Lutheran earlier this week. The Pioneers haven't been on the court since they gave top-ranked Kewaunee all they could handle in a 77-65 loss. Bo Tanck led the way with 22 points while Cash Kuehn and Logan Schuh also registered double-figures. The Pioneers have wins over Gibraltar and Chilton in their last five games.

A 47-45 win over NEW Lutheran has been the lone bright spot in a 1-4 stretch for the Blue Devils. Mason Colvin leads the team with 14.1 ppg while Hayden Petersen averages 11.1 ppg and Lars Saldana pitches in 9.1 ppg. All three scoring leaders are sophomores.
