The Sevastopol girls basketball team had two players reach double-figures on Monday to beat Sturgeon Bay 58-34 at home.
Defense led to the Pioneers' offense as they garnered 16 steals in the contest.
Sydney Peterson and Sienna Cain each scored 19 points with the latter registering 10 rebounds in the Pioneers win.
Regan Kasten led the Clippers with 12 points, while Cora Frangipane, MaKenna Coyhis, Genevieve Austad and McKenna Poh all had the next highest points score at four points each.
"We toggled for the lead in the first half, and fell too far behind to recover after half," said Clippers head coach Rachel Miller after the game. "It was a tough fought game!"
The Pioneers will next compete in a conference game at Algoma on Friday while the Clippers will be at home on Thursday to welcome Southern Door.
