The Door County United Girls High School Swim Team isn’t done with its season quite yet!

They competed in the WIAA Division 2 Sectional Swim Meet at Ashwaubenon High School on November 8, 2025.

The team finished 5th overall at the meet.

As a whole, the squad posted season-best times in all events, with nearly every swim marking a personal best for the athletes.

Quinn Sperber (SDHS) had a standout meet, placing 3rd in the 100-yard Backstroke and 7th in the 100-yard Butterfly.

Bre Anderson (SEV) also had a phenomenal meet. She finished 19th in the 200-yard Freestyle and 14th in the 100-yard Freestyle, both marking major season-best times by several seconds.

Hazel Monfils (SDHS) finished 5th in the 100-yard Breaststroke, followed closely by Shaeffer Rass in 7th place.

Chloe Bissen (SBHS) placed 5th overall in the 100-yard Butterfly.

DCU qualified two events for the state tournament.

For the third year in a row, senior Kailyn Neville will compete in the 200-yard Freestyle after earning a 4th-place finish at sectionals.

Additionally, the 400-yard Freestyle Relay team of Chloe Bissen, Shaeffer Rass, Hazel Monfils, and Kailyn Neville punched its ticket to state with a 5th-place finish.

Bre Anderson and Quinn Sperber will serve as alternates for the meet.

The girls will compete on Friday, November 14th at Waukesha South High School. Congratulations on a great season, ladies!
