The road to Wisconsin Rapids runs through Fond du Lac on Friday night when Sevastopol meets Oakfield at North Fond du Lac High School.
The Pioneers earned their spot in the sectional final with lopsided victories over Suring and Marion/Tigerton in consecutive weeks. In last week's 50-16 win over the Thundercatz, senior quarterback Logan Schuh was an efficient 13-16 and 154 yards while rushing for 102 yards and three scores. Gavin Jorns, Ray Johnson, and Chase Haberli also found the endzone as the the Pioneers outgained the Thundercatz on the ground 255-175. Head coach Daniel Judas was especially proud of the team's defense last week that held one of the top rushers in 8-Player Football to under four yards a carry as Braylon Mielke gained 101 yards on 26 carries.

The Oaks come into the game after beating Belmont 32-26, which was the first time they have been held under 45 points all season outside of a 34-22 loss to Algoma on September 12th. The team boasts its own dual-threat quarterback in Austin Harmsen, who has thrown for 1300 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for more six more scores on just over 300 yards. Lennon Rauls powered the rushing attack with nearly 1000 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns.
