The Door County United swim teams heads out of town Tuesday night to face Shawano in a varsity sprints meet.
The co-op squad suffered one of its few dual meet losses of the season last week when it fell to Seymour High School on Thursday, October 16th. Seymour edged out a win scoring 85 points to DCU’s 83 points. The girls battled the whole meet and despite the loss, many individuals still shined during the meet. Senior Chloe Bissen (SBHS) finished first in the 200 yard Individual Medley and the 100 yard Butterfly. Quinn Sperber (SDHS) finished first in the 100 yard Backstroke and 4th in the 100 yard Butterfly, both of which were best times for the season. Hazel Monfils (SDHS) placed first in the 100 yard Breaststroke and 2nd in the 100 yard Butterfly.
The first events begin at 5 p.m.
