For the first time since 2018, the Sevastopol football team will play in the postseason when they face Suring at home on Saturday.
When they Pioneers are in the postseason, they have proven to be a formidable opponent. They have not lost a postseason game since they lost to Siren in their first trip to old 8-Man Football Jamboree in 2015. They won their Jamboree games in 2016 and 2017 before running the table in 2018 to win the first-ever WIAA Eight-Man Football State Championship with a 38-30 victory over Luck. The combination of small playoff fields and poor records kept the Pioneers out of the playoff picture until this year.
In their season finale, the Pioneers powered past Rosholt 66-24. Logan Schuh finished the night with 322 total yards and five touchdowns, while Brett Haberli added 149 yards and a score on the ground. Reid Kacmarynski recorded two receiving touchdowns, and Roman LeClair contributed 103 rushing yards and one touchdown.

The Pioneers beat the Eagles convincingly in their first meeting 50-22. Schuh had four total touchdowns while rushing for 134 yards and passing for another 114 yards.
