The Door County United (DCU) Girls High School Swim Team’s luck continued with their win over Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School on Thursday, October 9th.

 

DCU scored 83 points to Wittenberg’s 71.

 

Southern Door’s Quinn Sperber placed second in the 100 yard Backstroke and fourth in the 100 yard Butterfly. She was also a part of the second place 200 yard Medley Relay, along with Hazel Monfils (SDHS), Shaeffer Rass (SEV), and Jillian Peterson (SDHS).

 

Chloe Bissen (SBHS) placed second in both the 200 yard Individual medley and the 100 yard Butterfly. Additionally, she was a member of the second place team for the 200 yard Freestyle relay with Bre Anderson (SEV), Sperber, and Kailyn Neville (SDHS).

 

Bre Anderson placed fourth in both the 200 and 500 yard Freestyle helping score 4 more points for the team.

 

DCU will travel to Shorewood High School on Saturday, October 11th to compete at Small School State.

 

Come cheer on DCU at their last home meet on Thursday, October 16th against Seymour High School at 6:00 pm at the Door County YMCA.
