Local high school cross country teams are taking to the course this Thursday when Sevastopol hosts its home invitational. The Pioneer Invitational at Cherry Hills Golf Course in Sturgeon Bay starts at 3:45 p.m. and will feature teams from Algoma, Denmark, Gibraltar, Luxemburg-Casco, Providence Academy, Sturgeon Bay, Sevastopol, and Two Rivers.

Elsewhere, the Reedsville Invitational, beginning at 4:00 pm, will include Kewaunee, Southern Door, Wrightstown, Mishicot, Chilton, Brillion, Valders, Oconto Falls, Roncalli, NEWCHAA, and St. Ignatius/Chesterton Academy.
