Sevastopol High School

Kuehn's big night not enough for Sevastopol

On just four receptions, sophomore Cash Kuehn exploded for three touchdowns and 125 receiving yards in Sevastopol’s 44-20 loss to Lena/Aquinas Friday night.

The Pioneers’ offense struggled to gain momentum against the Titans’ strong defense, which had not allowed a single point all season until Friday. Kuehn was on the receiving end of nearly everything senior quarterback Logan Schuh completed, as he finished with 150 passing yards and three scores.

For Lena/Aquinas, it was their toughest challenge yet, but they remain a perfect 4-0. Sevastopol, now 3-1, was handed its first loss of the season.

The Pioneers will return home next Friday, September 19, for a matchup against Gibraltar. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The game will be carried on 105.1 The GOAT beginning at 6:45 p.m.
