A duel between Southern Door's Drew Daoust and Sevastopol's Andrew Wiesner led the Pioneers in a 2-1 win on Thursday.

Wiesner helped his cause with an RBI double in the first inning before the two teams exchanged runs a few innings later. The Eagles answered an RBI single by Logan Schuh with their run-scoring single struck by Braylon Berg.

Both pitchers went the distance, with Wiesner allowing one runs (1 ER) on four hits while striking out 13 while Daoust also went the distance, scattering four hits and tw runs while striking out six.
