Pioneers boys fall on the road to Bulldogs

Sevastopol dropped its second straight conference game on Friday night to Peshtigo on the road 59-47.

The Bulldogs took a 28-19 lead into the locker room and carried that advantage throughout thanks to nine made three-pointers compared to four for the Pioneers. Dominik Baxter scored 14 of his game-high 23 points in the second half to pace the Bulldogs. Two other Bulldogs reached double figures thanks to strong performances in the second half. That's also where the Pioneers' Bo Tanck shined the brightest, scoring all 15 points after the break. Zaul Valdivia paced the Pioneers overall with 19 points, including 12 in the opening frame.
