Pioneers boys' winning streak snapped by Blue Devils

The Sevastopol Pioneers boys basketball team saw their two-game winning streak snapped at the charity stripe on Saturday, falling to Oconto 67-60.

 

The two teams combined to shoot 66 free throws on the afternoon, with the Blue Devils making 10 more (23-34) than the Pioneers (13-32) from the line. The Pioneers trailed by six at the break and couldn't claw closer in the second half.  Four Pioneers players reached double figures, with Logan Schuh's 18 points leading the way. Zaul Valdivia (14 pts), Damien Lardinois (11 pts), and Bo Tanck (10 points) made up the other players reaching the mark. The Blue Devils also had four players reach double figures, with Carter Koch's 18 points leading the way.
