Door County United's Caitlyn Hasenjager is officially heading to the next stage of her swimming career.

Hasenjager signed her National Letter of Intent last week to swim for Division 2 Southwest Minnesota State.

She earned individual honors in the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley in her senior year. Caitlyn served as a captain during her senior year. For each year of high school, Caitlyn’s team won the Bay Conference. Caitlyn qualified for State in the 200-yard freestyle relay and 200-medley relay as a junior and in the 200-free relay, 200-medley relay, 400-free relay, and the individual 100 breaststroke as a senior. Caitlyn has swum as a member of the Door County YMCA club swim team since second grade, earning herself a total of four trips to the YMCA state championships.

In addition to swimming, Hasenjager will pursue a degree in exercise science with an emphasis on athletic training.
