There's a new all-time scoring champion for Sevastopol girls basketball team after the Pioneers topped NEW Lutheran 56-40.

Naomi Rikkola scored 14 of her 19 points in the first half, but two of those points pushed her past Michele Bushman to the top of the scoring record books.

The Pioneers outscored the Blazers 29-15 in the opening frame, thanks to strong efforts from Sadie Rikkola and Kayla Ranly. Scoring 15 points in the second half, Ranly led all scorers with 23 points, while the younger Rikkola chipped in 16 points. Ella Volkmann and Sienna Cain each added five points. Abby Kirchner scored 11 points and Ingrid Beaumont added 10 points in the loss for the Blazers.
