Rikkola paces Pioneers past Clippers

The Sevastopol girls basketball team nearly got 30 points from Naomi Rikkola in a 63-37 win over 54235 rival Sturgeon Bay on Monday night.

 

Rikkola scored 22 of her 29 points in the first half, including a perfect 5-5 from the charity stripe and eight made shots from the field. Kayla Ranly and Sadie Rikkola each knocked down a trio of three points to contribute nine points apiece in the win. Addison Schauske chipped in five points.

 

The Clippers relied on Dasha Yeltysheva to keep things going offensively as she went 9-10 from the free throw line en route to a team-leading 13 points. The Clippers eight points from Cora Frangipiane and seven points apiece from Regan Kasten and Cady Carlson.
