The Sevastopol Pioneer girls' basketball team went into the locker room down 25-10 and could not recover in its 44-30 loss to Bonduel Monday night.
The Bears limited the Pioneers to just three made shots from the field in the first half, a total eclipsed by Audrey Weir as she scored 10 points in the first half en route to a 18-point night. After being held scoreless in the first half, Naomi Rikkola gave the Pioneers a boost in the second half as she scored all 11 of her points to lead the team in scoring. Kayla Ranly chipped in eight points, while Sadie Rikkola contributed another five points. Ella Volkmann, Sienna Cain, and Brynn Schartner also scored in the contest. Seven players scored for the Bears in addition to Weir, five of which registered at least four points.
