The Sevastopol Pioneers dominated Tuesday night in the opening round of the WIAA Division 5 girls basketball playoffs with a 65-7 win over the St. Thomas Aquinas Cavaliers in Institute. 

 

The Pioneers pulled away early and never looked back, as nine players tallied in the scoring column for Sevastopol.

 

Naomi Rikkola and Katie Spude had 12 points each for the Pioneers, who are #2 seeded in the Regional. 

 

Sevastopol (21-3) will now host Packerland Conference rival Gibraltar on Friday in the Regional semi-final, with the game broadcast on 96.7 WBDK and 105.1 The Goat.
