Even at 2-13, Sevastopol boys' basketball coach Kyle Luedtke is happy with the strides his team is making in his first season at the helm.

The team has already matched its win total from last year and one victory away from posting its best record since before the pandemic. The offense has also improved during that time, averaging 44.7 ppg compared to just above 40 points each of the last three seasons. Luedtke says his team is playing hard and knows the results will follow.

The Pioneers will look to snap a two-game skid Thursday night when they host NEW Lutheran in Institute for a 6:30 p.m. tip.
