The Sevastopol girls' basketball team made the most of their trip to Reedsville on Thursday, beating the Panthers 59-45.

The Pioneers survived two strong performances from Mallory Novy and Mercedes Grimm, who scored 21 and 17 points, respectively, in the loss for the Panthers. The Panthers, of course, had their own two-headed monster to contend with as Kayla Ranly led all scorers with 22 points, and Naomi Rikkola poured in 21 points. The pair were responsible for seven of the nine made three-pointers on the night, with Libby Ash making up for the balance.
