The Sevastopol Pioneers battled toe-to-toe with the Bonduel Bears Thursday night, but dropped a non-conference matchup 39-34 on the road.
Naomi Rikkola carried the Pioneers early, scoring all her 11 points in the first half as Sevastopol trailed 24-17 going into intermission.
Kayla Ranly picked up where Rikkola left off in the second half, scoring 11 of her team-high 14 points before fouling out.
Hailee Thompson paced Bonduel with 39 points as the Bears held on for the victory.
