The Sevastopol Pioneers boys' basketball start their season on Tuesday with a home matchup against Suring.

Superintendent Kyle Luedtke takes the program's reins after Ron Frank pulled double duty as the school's football and basketball coach the last few seasons. The Pioneers are trying to reverse their fortunes after going 2-25 overall and winless in the Packerland Conference. Zaul Valdivia is the top scorer returning from last year's squad.

The Eagles finished near the bottom of the Marinette and Oconto Conference after going 4-12 in conference play en route to a 7-18 season. They lost to Elcho in their opening game of the tournament.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
