Pioneers girls look tip over Wolves

The Sevastopol Pioneers look to improve to 2-0 when they face Hilbert at home on Thursday night.

 

The Pioneers played long ball with Suring, beating them 64-14 on Tuesday. They were able to cruise to the victory after outscoring the Eagles 44-7 in the first half. The Pioneers knocked down 11 three-pointers, led by Libby Ash's 6-7 performance en route to a 20-point night. Naomi Rikkola led all scorers with 22 points, while Kayla Ranly cracked double figures with 10 points. 

 

The Wolves narrowly lost to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 41-36 in their season opener on Tuesday.

 

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
