The Sevastopol Pioneers will play some non-conference baseball on Thursday when they travel south to take on the Sheboygan Lutheran Crusaders. 

Sevastopol was swept in a doubleheader against Oconto on Monday, and was not able to continue the momentum they had from a winning weekend where they took down St. Thomas Aquinas 11-0 and 13-10 for their first wins of the season. The Pioneers had been 0-14 leading up to those games, and will look to add another non-conference win to their resume against the Crusaders. 

Sheboygan Lutheran is 5-9 overall and 4-8 in the Big East Conference. The Crusaders have had a tough week so far, losing 20-0 to the Indians of Mishicot on Monday, and falling to St. Mary’s Catholic 3-0. Lutheran is on a four game losing streak entering the game with Sevastopol, and the Pioneers will look to make it five.
