The Sevastopol Pioneers hope Saturday's success carries over into Monday's games against Oconto in Institute.
The Pioneers won their games against St. Thomas Aquinas by scores of 11-0 and 13-10, their first two victories of the season. Chase Haberli was key in both victories, going 2-3 with two RBI in the first game before picking up the win in the second game, throwing 3 scoreless innings that allowed us to take and hold the lead in this back-and-forth affair.
The Blue Devils are 9-5 on the year and 6-4 in the conference, with those four losses coming against the conference-leading Kewaunee Storm and Southern Door Eagles. They swept a doubleheader from Algoma over the weekend, winning those games 5-2 and 14-2.
First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
