The Sevastopol Pioneers baseball team will look to grab their first win of the season when they take on NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy in a doubleheader on Friday afternoon. 

Sevastopol enters the game against the Blazers at 0-11 overall on the season and 0-10 in Packerland play after being swept in a doubleheader against the Storm of Kewaunee. The Pioneers took down NEW Lutheran three different times last season, twice in a doubleheader with scores of 13-3 and 3-1, but also in the WIAA Regional where Sevastopol won 7-2. 

NEW Lutheran has also had a bit of struggle to their season so far, with a 3-9 overall record and a 1-9 record in the Packerland Conference. That one win came against Peshtigo early in the season by a score of 10-2, but the Blazers have lost six straight games coming into play against the Pioneers.
