The Sevastopol Pioneers girls' basketball team clinched the Packerland Conference championship on Monday night with another dominating performance, beating NEW Lutheran 59-23.

The Pioneers took a 31-14 halftime lead into the locker room and got even stingier on defense in the second half. They allowed just nine second-half points, allowing just three made field goals. Ebony Sinclair was kept well below her season average, scoring ten points on the night after registering eight in the first half.

Bailey Rikkola helped the Pioneers jump all over the Blazers, scoring 13 of her game-high 20 points in the opening frame. Naomi Rikkola and Reesce Schauske each added 10 points and Addison Schauske chipped in nine points in the victory.
