Defense and a strong night offensively from a Rikkola led the way again as the Sevastopol girls' basketball team beat Kewaunee Friday night 56-32

The Pioneers more than doubled up the Storm by the break as they led 37-16 after the first 18 minutes of play. Bailey Rikkola scored 12 of her game-high 20 points in the first half while Libby Ash scored 10 of her 11 points in the same frame. Naomi Rikkola added 13 points in the game for the Pioneers, six of which coming in the second half. The Storm had nine different players score but none more than seven points in the loss. Jade Kroll managed seven points and Lexi Hanrahan added five points in the loss against the conference leaders.
