DCU tops Kiel, Berlin in triple-dual

The Door County United swim team secures the win tonight over Kiel and Berlin. It was a close night, but the nine boys pulled it out and were able to get the job done. Well done!

Notable swims and finishes
-1st place (Race Kasten, Jack Monfils, Colton Blackley, Logan Filar) and 4th places (Tre Wienke, Branden Neubauer, Ezra Linnan, Eric Jimenez-Polster) in the 200 medley relay with times of 1:46.35 (a season best in the 200medley relay) and 2:05.52 respectively
-1st place (Kasten, Blackley, Linnan, Filar) and 3rd places (George Atwell, Wienke, Jimenez-Polster, Neubauer) in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:38.00 (a season best in the 200 free relay) and 2:00.30 respectively
-2nd place finish in the 400 free relay (Linnan, Atwell, Wienke, Monfils) with a time of 3:50.28

-Blackley took 2nd in the 200 free with a time of 2:07.50 and Neubauer took 5th with a time of 2:13.27
-Filar placed 2nd in the 200 IM with a time of 2:19.46 (a season best) and Atwell took 4th with a time of 2:37.82 (a season best)
-Blackley took 1st in the 50 free with a time of 24.89 (a season best) and Wienke took 3rd with a time of 27.45 (a season best)
-Filar took 3rd in the 100 fly with a time of 1:03.36 and Linnan took 4th with a time of 1:05.00 (a season best)
-Kasten took 1st in the 100 free with a time of 53.08 (a season best) and Jimenez-Polster took 4th with a time of 1:07.63 (a season best)
-Monfils took 3rd in the 500 free with a time of 5:34.15 and Atwell took 4th with a time of 6:13.30
-Kasten took 1st in the 100 back with a time of 1:02.16 and Jimenez-Polster took 6th with a time of 1:25.33
-Monfils placed 1st in the 100 breast with a time of 1:07.24 and Neubauer took 3rd with a 1:17.47
