The Door County United swim team picked up several event wins while taking second place as a team in their conference meet at Two Rivers on Tuesday.
Notable swims and finishes:
- 1st place finish in the 200 medley relay (Race Kasten, Jack Monfils, Logan Filar, Ezra Linnan) with a time of 1:47.62 (a season-best in the 200 medley relay)
- 2nd (Colton Blackley, Linnan, Branden Neubauer, Filar) with a time of 1:39.48 (a season-best in the 200 free relay)
- 1st place finish in the 400 free relay (Kasten, Neubauer, Atwell, Monfils) with a time of 3:51.76 (a season-best in the 400 free relay)
- Neubauer took 4th in the 200 free with a time of 2:10.78 (a season-best by dropping ten seconds)
- Filar placed 2nd in the 200 IM with a time of 2:21.56, and Blackley took 3rd with a time of 2:26.75
- Filar took 2nd in the 100 fly with a time of 1:02.89, and Linnan took 4th with a time of 1:09.19
- Blackley took 2nd in the 100 free with a time of 54.63 (a season-best)
- Kasten took 3rd in the 500 with a time of 5:57.24
- Kasten took 1st in the 100 back with a time of 1:00.52, and Linnan took 4th with a time of 1:10.41
- Monfils placed 1st in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.52 (a season-best) and Neubauer took 4th with a 1:17.38 (a season-best)
DCU's next meet is Saturday, January 7th, in Cedarburg. It is an invitational meet.
