The Sevastopol Pioneers will welcome in a county opponent Friday night, as the Southern Door Eagles will make the trip up to Sevastopol to take on the Pioneers. 

Sevastopol has suffered back to back losses after getting their first win of the season against Wausaukee. Huge losses to Peshtigo and Reedsville by 40 points or more may have dampened some momentum, but getting back to Packerland play could change some things for the Pioneers. Cesar Sandoval has shown his ability to score in bunches, with a season high of 17 he scored earlier in the season. 

For the Eagles of Southern Door, they’re coming off of a loss to conference contender Peshtigo. Drew Daoust has been the best player overall in the conference so far, and one of the best scoring guards in the entirety of the state. Senior Jared Hawkey has continued his strong start on the defensive front, averaging 3.3 steals per game and 4 blocks per game.
