Pioneers play host to Shiocton in non-conference matchup

The Sevastopol Pioneers will dip back into non-conference play Thursday night as they will make up their postponed game against the Shiocton Chiefs.

Sevastopol was supposed to face Shiocton earlier in the season, but due to their football team being in the WIAA state tournament championship for Football, the game would end up being postponed. The Pioneers are coming off of a strong opening win to their Packerland conference season, defeating the Peshtigo Bulldogs 55-34. Sevastopol will continue a stretch of non-conference games in their schedule after their matchup with the Chiefs, as they will host the Roncalli Jets.

Shiocton has split the two games that they’ve played, with a win over Wild Rose, and a loss to Southern Door in their season opener. The Chiefs are lead by Kendal Stingle, who is averaging 15.5 points per game in their two games played.

Tip is scheduled for 7:30.
